Classes held at the Waldorf Center follow the CSM La Plata campus closing postings.
Emergency Closing Information
Decisions regarding whether to close or delay opening the Waldorf Center for Higher Education
due to inclement weather or other conditions are made soley at the discretion Center's management and the
College of Southern Maryland. Please note that decisions are made independently and therefore may not
necessarily coincide with the decisions of other local businesses, schools, and government agencies.
When the college or the La Plata Campus is closed due to inclement weather all programs at the Waldorf
Center will be closed. Additionally, when the college or La Plata Campus has a weather-related
delayed opening, all programs will observe the delay and opening time.

Students seeking up-to-the-minute closing and delay information are encouraged to sign
up for CSM.TXT an alert service provided through e2Campus™. Messages can be sent directly
to your cell phone via text message, or to your e-mail account.
